Well folks, I am currently working on the timeline and events of LoZ, and how they connect. I know this shows off my nerdiness but I really wanted to try this out. I will post the full thing in a couple hours, (hopefully) and I want you guys to talk, rant, or congratulate about it. Let's see where this takes us! EDIT: Here is a cool site for LoZ lore. Check it out. www.zeldauniverse.netEDIT 2: Will make new posts for each game and why they are in the part of the timeline they are in twice a week, one on Sunday and one on Wednesday, so we can have enough time to chat! Will also make necessary adjustements to my posts if someone comes up with something that I think should be added. So if you come here and see something changed, don't freak out, it is just me changing some things. Next new post for game will be on Majora's Mask on Wednesday of the 12th of July! Hope to see you all there!

Ok, so I got OoT as first and I don't believe that the last one has been made yet. MM is after OoT, do you think TP is after that?

Not sure. I would have to do more research. What about WW? It had to take place in the future of OoT when floods overtook Hyrule.

Yea, but I think that they may make another one that may explain how the water receded. So far, there are two distinctive timelines in LoZ:
OoT: Without water, vast and beautiful WW: Water overtaken world, everything in islands now
These two timelines have to connect. Nintendo has never said each game is its own story, so that means it is possible. I am aiming to prove that this is true, even if I have to play every single game again!

You are obssessed! I wonder if Nintendo themselves have figured out the complicated plot and mythology of Zelda...if should be interesting to see how they play to explain the plot of TP. But since it is adult Link wouldn't it make sense if TP is in the future after WW?

I just thought of something. Remember when I said that there may come a game that would explain the water receding? Well, LoZ: Phantom Hourglass is coming for the DS, and it is in the same style as WW. Does that mean in the same time? Very interesting. Also, the game looks excellent.

I saw that too.
BTW, its "Nintendo is too beautiful as Sony is too expensive!"
Nice simile.

Haha. Well, here is the timeline (please do realize that most of this is speculation. Will explain myself soon. If you have questions, please post! It will make me happy!):
LoZ: Ocarina Of Time LoZ: Majora's Mask LoZ: Link to the Past LoZ: Oracle of Ages/Seasons LoZ: Twilight Princess LoZ: Link's Awakening LoZ: Link's Adventure LoZ: The Minish Cap LoZ: WindWaker LoZ: Phantom Hourglass
Well, there it is. The reason I picked OoT as first is because it is the first time we (techinically) see Link as a child. I do not believe we have seen the ending to the entire series yet. That may be the final game Nintendo makes (if they ever). I will explain myself more as I gather more info. Please post if you agree, disagree, have ideas, think I am dumb, think I am smart, whatever. I am very obsessed, and I want to share in the craziness. POST!!!

Ok, first we talk about Ocarina of Time. The reason I picked it as first was because it was the first time we techinically saw Link as a child. There may be games made to explain how and why the world fell into ruin, but I see no connections with the other games to the prologue of OoT. This was also the first game to give us a in-depth look at the timeline and storyline of LoZ. We saw many connections, and it seemed to lay a good foundation as first of the LoZ storyline.

Wow this is very cool ;D
I can try to assist you as well
I'm pretty sure that in WW it said something that related it to OoT, but I can't remember the exact quote...

It mentioned the Hero of Time at the beginning, which was the Link of OoT!

Not sure. I would have to do more research. What about WW? It had to take place in the future of OoT when floods overtook Hyrule. But it's so confusing, cause they went back in time and were like RAR but Link hadn't known about his sword and Zelda was all hidden and they didn't know about THEMSELVES so wouldn't windwaker be first? I dunno. Now I'm confused.
