[glow=red,2,300]Did You Know? Nintendo Game Offerings Heat Up As the Weather Cools Down[/glow]Nintendo reveals its fall lineup.July 25, 2006 - The fourth quarter of 2006 will herald a new era for Nintendo with the launch of its remarkable new Wii home video game system. But that's not what this news item is about! How could that be, you ask? Perhaps the secret to the launch information for Wii is somehow encoded in the text of this news item. You might want to pore over it for a few hours before staying up all night to debate phraseology and comma placement with your friends online. Or maybe it's all just a scam to get you to read the other games we have launching this fall. One of the two. As the weather cools down, the Nintendo portable game offerings heat up. FINAL FANTASY V ADVANCE makes its way to Game Boy Advance SP on Nov. 6. As series go, FINAL FANTASY is to video games what James Bond is to movies. FINAL FANTASY loyalists will enjoy an opportunity to debate which installment was best. Nintendo DS owners are the big winners. Every week or so, another huge DS title hits, from the Touch Generations title Clubhouse Games to fan favorites like Elite Beat Agents and Yoshi's Island 2. Clearly a gamer's idea of paradise, here is Nintendo's upcoming DS lineup: Oct. 9: Clubhouse Games Oct. 16: Nintendogs (Dalmatian) Oct. 23: Magical Starsign Oct. 30: Pokémon Ranger Oct. 30: Children of Mana Nov. 6: Elite Beat Agents Nov. 13: Yoshi's Island 2 Dec. 4: Custom Robo Arena Dec. 4: Kirby Squeak Squad And, for Nintendo GameCube owners, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will be available for you this fall. An enhanced version also will be a launch title for Wii. That will all happen on... Oh look, we're out of space. Someone said they liked dalmations, so I thought I should post this: [glow=red,2,300]Dalmatians Frolic Stateside[/glow]Check out Nintendo's current release date list, which includes a new Nintendogs edition.by Craig Harris July 25, 2006 - In a brief mailing today, Nintendo revealed its current line-up of first-party Nintendo DS titles scheduled to ship by the end of the year. Among the dates is the revelation that Nintendogs: Dalmatian and Friends will make an appearance in the US this fall. The game is essentially the same as previous editions released a year ago, apart from the fact that players will be able to adopt a dalmatian breed right from the start. It ships on October 16th. Also in October will be the release of Clubhouse Games, a compilation of card, board and parlor games that are Wi-Fi Connection enabled. It hits stores on October 9th. Magical Starsign, the localized rendition of the Magical Vacation RPG in Japan hits on October 23rd. Two games share a October 30th date: Pokemon Ranger, and the Square Enix-developed Children of Mana. For November, Nintendo will launch the long-awaited US rendition of the fantastical Ouendan! music design: Elite Beat Agents hits on November 6th. On November 13th, we'll see the official sequel to the Super NES Yoshi's Island in the aptly titled Yoshi's Island 2. A month later, we'll see two more games from Nintendo: Custom Robo Arena, and Kirby: Squeak Squad...both scheduled for a December 4th release. This leaves several other games from Nintendo's future line-up in 2007 limbo. E3-announced games such as The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Diddy Kong Racing, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, DS Air, did not make an appearance on this announcement, which leads us to believe that they've been delayed until next year. ds.ign.com/articles/720/720913p1.html
